The Barkless Pro Bark Collar is a static electric anti-bark collar designed to control barking, howling and whining in small to large dogs above 5kg (including stubborn dogs).
The Barkless Pro effectively controls barking, whining and howling. The collar features an advanced vibration sensor that picks up the vibrations of your dog's vocal chords as they bark, whine or howl. When the vibration sensor detects the vibration, the collar delivers a momentary static electric stimulation through the contact probes. With consistent use, your dog will learn not to bark when the collar is on.
The collar has 8 levels of correction. You can choose to set the collar at a correction level that matches your dog's drive or you can set the collar to automatic mode.
The Manual Setting mode allows you to set the collar to a correction level that matches your dog's nuisance barking, howling or whining.
Start at level 1 and work up through the levels until you find a level that matches your dog's motivation to bark or howl.
Level 1 = Lowest stimulation level
Level 8 = Highest stimulation level
When your dog howls, whines or barks, the collar will begin at level 1 and gradually increase through the 8 levels of correction as your dog continues to bark or howl. The collar will reset back to level 1 after 10 seconds of silence.
Please Note: Setting the collar to automatic mode is not ideal for small or sensitive dogs because the higher stimulations may be overwhelming.
The Advanced Vibration Sensor picks up the vibration of your dog's vocal chords as they bark, howl or whine. A barking dog's vocal chords vibrate significantly more than a howling dog's vocal chords. You can adjust the vibration sensitivity as required:
Low sensitivity setting - For dogs with a loud, deep bark
Medium sensitivity setting - For dogs with a normal bark (suitable for most barking dogs)
High sensitivity setting - For dogs that howl or whine
The Bark Counter on the collar keeps track of how many times your dog barked or howled while you've been away. The number of barks (or howling) is displayed on an easy to read LCD screen on the top of the collar. To reset the bark counter, simply hold the control button down until the LCD screen displays the number 0.
Please note: If the LCD displays an excessive number, ensure that the collar is fitted correctly before increasing the correction strength.
